Such a delightful experience at Sage Cafe! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. I ordered the crabcake sliders with French fries—absolutely delicious! I also took a slice of carrot cake to go, and it was wonderfully moist and full of flavor. The cafe itself is charming and cozy. I’ll definitely be back!

Sage Cafe has a whimsical atmosphere, friendly staff, and exquisite food prepared by a professional chef, who happens to be the owner. Christine, my server who has worked there over 20 years, was delightful. There was two wait staff, Christine being one of them, who served everyone in the restaurant along with handling the "to go" orders. I was impressed watching them. I ate a half order spinach with fruit salad topped with candied pecans that was very large, filling, and delicious, creamy potatoe salad mixed with a sour cream, greek yogurt and fresh dill, and chicken salad sandwich on toasted focatta bread. It was shredded well and tasted like it was mixed with the same dressing as the potatoes salad, and oh so creamy. Nothing else was added in the chicken salad, but it was served with lettuce leaf and tomatoes. They did not hold back on the portion size. I ate turtle cheesecake for dessert, also delicious and not too sweet. All of the food was very appealing to the eye and the restaurant was a cozy and beautiful, quant little place. I will definitely return when I have to return to the area. This location is near the Sherman Courthouse and during lunch hours you may have to search for parking and possibly walk a block, HOWEVER, it is definitely worth it. Go check them out and support small business!

We moved into the area a year ago and discovered this little gem shortly there after. We average eating there a couple of times each week. My favorites include the chicken fried steak, turkey club, blt and Tomato Basil soup. The pork lunch special is superb, but only on the menu from time to time. It's all exceptionally good. What makes it even better is the wait staff. These 4 young ladies make up a team. Before you leave, 2 or 3 of them will have likely enhanced your dinning experience. I can't close the review without mentioning the deserts. The chocolate pie is my wifes all time favorite while mine is the coconut. The head chief and owner literally SERVES the local lunch community. Needless to say, I highly recommend this cafe.

Great place. The chicken salad sandwich is really good. Just basic but done to perfection. People try to church it up with grapes, too much celery... this is perfect . Plus, they know me here.... I mean, nobody knows me. I can say when I walk in, I feel like a couple people think they may know me. That counts for something. Side note: The ADD medicine isn't strong enough. The decor is amazing. I'm not the type of person that says those words. I love the light fixtures. The rest of the place feels like home, if home looked the way you would want it to be if you spent a lot of time and resources getting it that way.
